JOB TITLE: Graduate Sales Representative

Position Summary:
ArcRoyal is recruiting for an exciting, graduate sales role in which the successful candidate will proactively drive the expansion of the company’s business in the U.K.

ArcRoyal would like to speak to customer-centric and versatile graduate professionals with a real drive for results. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a keen desire and interest in sales preferably in the sales of medical devices.

The position will require extensive travel throughout the UK (approximately 60% of the candidates time will be spent travelling) and so will require a full driving licence.


1. Principle Responsibilities:
1.1 Assist in the development of new business opportunities and determination of new customer and market potential, leveraging core competencies of the organisation.

1.2 Help grow the sales of the company’s Custom Procedure Tray product offering to Cardiac Catherisation labs in the UK.

1.3 With regard to the company’s medical device product categories outside of Custom Procedure Trays, assist in the development of a network of distributors, strategic partnerships or other appropriate channels to ensure ArcRoyal meets its objectives in relation to market leadership and sales growth in the assigned geographic territory.

1.4 Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships and build relationships with potential customers with a view to sales growth.

1.5 Ensure total customer satisfaction with regard to back office activities and customer support for the customer base.

1.6 Assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquiries.

1.7 Liaise with physicians, technicians, nursing personnel, hospital purchasing departments or buying groups, as required, ensuring they’re positively and correctly managed to optimise customer loyalty.

1.8 At all times work closely with other members of the ArcRoyal organisation to achieve the strategic objectives of the overall organisation.

1.9 Carry out systematic collection, presentation and interpretation of market and competitor information. Develop systems and processes that increase market knowledge with regard to new and existing markets.

1.10 Develop sales plans by product group, which result in measurable business growth in top line sales and margin enhancement.

1.11 Available to travel approximately 150 days per annum.

2 Job Complexity:
2.1 The ability to communicate successfully with all departments within the Company and externally with international colleagues and customers.

2.2 Good understanding of sales and marketing strategies that may be applied to achieve company objectives.

2.3 Knowledge of markets (both Country and Products) to required levels and/or skills to develop knowledge of markets.

3 Decision Making:
3.1 Make decisions regarding development and implementation of sales and promotional plans for ArcRoyal products in the identified geographic area.

3.2 Capable of handling multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.

4 Education / Experience:
4.1 Educated to degree level or equivalent within a sales and marketing relevant discipline. Post Graduate qualifications desirable.

4.2 One to two years experience in a sales focused role.

4.3 Understanding of direct “end user” sales and business to business relationships.

4.4 Full clean Driving Licence.
