Engineering Manager
The Engineering Manager will:
· project manage new products from concept to product introduction while ensuring they are developed in a controlled manner.
· project manage capital, compliance and strategic projects and to co-ordinate all activities between the design team, vendors, contractors and customer departments.
· provide support to manufacturing as required to meet the business targets and objectives, ensuring assigned equipment & processes operate at optimum efficiency.
· implement and/or support prime cost reduction and yield improvement programmes
· be responsible for medium and long term capacity planning
· manage facilities including equipment up-keep

The person will:
· be an experienced engineer with an appropriate Engineering qualification; have a minimum of 5 years experience and comfortable working in the fabrication industry
· have previous exposure to LEAN implementation and Six Sigma
· have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence at all levels.
· have the ability to effectively manage a busy workload
