Retail Store Manager – Dublin/Louth/Kildare

Our client, a large successful chain of Fashion/Textile/Homeware Department Stores is currently seeking to recruit a Strong Senior Store Manager to join their large and expanding team.

With over 60 Branches nationwide our client is expanding across their business with opportunities nationwide

The Jobs/positions in Dublin/Louth/Kildare requires a Store Manager with strong high volume Fashion/Textile Grocery or Non-food management experience.

Store Manager

  • To Review Store contribution results v target on a period basis and take action to improve results
  • Maximising sales by driving sales and service and operations through the team
  • Control all store costs and minimise all controllable costs
  • Ensure Productivity is high and therefore increased profits
  • Recruit high calibre staff in line with company recruitment process
  • Coach and develop the team in providing an efficient and effective service
  • Store succession plan in place to support future progression and development
  • Conduct performance reviews on a regular basis
  • Ensure visual merchandising and layout guidelines are adhered to
  • Liaise with Head office, Area Management and Buyers with regards to all commercial reports
  • Ensure the retail standards are maintained throughout the store
  • Ensure all company guidelines, procedures and policies are implemented and adhered to


  • Requirements for the job of Store Manager
  • 3-4 years High Volume Fashion/Grocery/Non-Food Experience essential for this role
  • Retail Management Turnover responsibility of over €5m+ within a large big box environment
  • Staff Management responsibility of over 20+
  • Experience in leading, managing and inspiring a large sales team
  • A Strong Understanding of Department Store Management, Big Box Management or high volume Discount Retailers
  • "A Hands on Manager" essential
