Established in 1986, our client is a leading supplier of crushing, screening and recycling equipment solutions. They are now looking to recruit a motivated Tactical Buyer / Planning Assistant to join their team.

Joining a dynamic team, as a Tactical Buyer / Planning Assistant, you will be responsible for rescheduling supplier orders in order to meet production requirements.
Using your strong ability to expedite orders, this role offers the perfect opportunity if you’re looking for a challenging career and the chance to be part of an unprecedented growth and success story.
To be considered for this unique opportunity, you must have:
- Experience in a buying or planning role within the manufacturing sector, including experience of using an MRP system
- An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
As a Tactical Buyer / Planning Assistant, you must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and suppliers is also key.
Whilst not essential, experience within the mining, quarrying or recycling sectors would be beneficial to your application. A degree or a relevant certification, such as a CIPS, would also be an advantage.
