Job : Group Human Resource Manager
We currently require an experienced RETAIL HR professional who will provide a high quality, effective and proactive service that meets both corporate and statutory requirements, encompassing all aspects of resourcing, employee relations, employee development and reward, and add value in the support of the Company’s business objectives. Retail HR experience is essential.
This is a senior management position and the successful candidate will contribute at executive level within the organisation.
As a member of the senior management team the Human Resource Business Partner will contribute to the development and implementation of an effective Human Resource Strategy.
In particular the role will have specific responsibility for the development and implementation of:
- An appropriate HR strategy for our stores in ROI & NI.
- HR advisory service, training package, performance management system for all stores.
- A continuous improvement culture and process within the HR Department both at head office and store level, with particular emphasis on resourcing, employment relations, succession planning, training and development, and the management of attendance and labour turnover.
- Policies and procedures that ensure the company remains fully compliant with changes to employment law (within ROI & UK) and for ensuring that these practices are implemented consistently.
Skills and Experience
- CIPD qualified and HR Management qualification, 3+ years relevant work experience, previous experience within the retail sector essential.
- Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation within ROI & UK.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to be hands on but also able to work at strategic level within the organisation
- Ability for problem solving, conflict resolution, motivation and negotiation
- Candidate must have proven experience within fast paced, dynamic working environment, and be able to make positive contributions towards business improvement and teamwork.
Salary: € 40-50K+ Bonus + Company Car.
