Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company is looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team in South Dublin.

Job Purpose

To support the Head of Finance in all areas of management accounting.

Responsibilities
  • To determine product standard costs
  • To perform variance analysis and identify and implement efficiencies
  • To produce accurate and timely financial information for senior management
  • To work on cost reduction initiatives with departmental managers
  • To work with the finance team in preparation of monthly reporting packs
  • To work with the team to prepare the annual budgets and business plans


Skills & Experience
  • Qualified accountant (preferably CIMA)
  • Proven prior business experience in multinational company
  • Experience of costing in a manufacturing environment
  • Business understanding and strong commercial focus
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Windows package - EXCEL, WORD)
  • Sox and compliance experience an advantage
