A leading Irish energy provider, Bord Gáis Energy is responsible for delivering gas, electricity & home team energy services to over 1,000,000 industrial, commercial and residential customers. Applications are now invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Optimisation Process Analyst.

The role
The candidate must be enthusiastic, dedicated and focused on providing business analysis to produce top-quality process maps and training documentation and conduct end to end training programmes. Within this role will be the requirement to analyse and implement process change through various best practise initiatives. The successful candidate will join a small team which is responsible for supporting business change development and driving operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will report into the Optimisation Manager for Customer Services.

Main Duties
• Business change management with internal and external sources in relation to business processes, procedures and process improvements.
• Analysis and map business processes using best practice with approval from key stakeholders
• Responsible for end to end training requirements from TNA to design, development, delivery, evaluation and maintenance of training modules
• Liaise with business managers and external parties to identify training needs to ensure the goals and objectives of the business are met.
• Maintain version controlled high quality training documentation in a fast paced changing environment.
• Deliver a wide variety of courses including systems, process, customer service, sales and softskills training.
• Use latest technologies and methodologies to support the training lifecycle and administration.
• Reports to Senior Management on a weekly and monthly basis
• Work with Quality Team to ensure consistency with all customer facing staff
• Daily issue resolution management for both internal and third party vendors.
• Lead new internal customer service project deliverables as required
• To develop online and other innovative training channels.
• Other Duties may also be assigned from time to time

Qualifications/Requirements

• Relevant 3rd Level qualification with a minimum of 5 years experience in related area
• Prince 2 or other related project management skills.
• Membership of IITD or equivalent is desirable
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to manage and influence key stakeholders across the organisation.
• Analytical mind and ability to work within tight project deliverable timeframes.
• Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes.
• Maintain drive and enthusiasm with interacting with all levels and departments within a fast paced changing environment
• Proactive in setting own high standards and deliver high quality results in tight deadlines
• Strong organisational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to work alone or in team.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
