Hartley People are currently recruiting for SOUS CHEF for a restaurant in outside Waterford.

Title: Sous Chef

Duration: Full time

Hours of Work: Monday –Friday: 2pm to 10pm

Saturday: 10am to 11pm

Sunday: 11am to 9pm

Opening Hours: Monday –Friday: 4pm to 10pm

Saturday: 12pm to 11pm

Sunday: 1pm to 9pm

Description:

3-4 years experience as a Sous Chef required. The candidate must have experience working with Mediterranean cuisine. This role will involve duties such as cleaning and preparing. It is a very hands-on-role and the ideal candidate must be adaptable and flexible in their attitude to work.

The head count in the restaurant is as follows: Head Chef, Sous Chef and a Kitchen Porter. During the winter season there is a rota between the two Chefs and during the busy season both the Head Chef and Sous Chef are working full time. The busy period is mainly July and August.

The Restaurant has a private dining room with a capacity of 50 people and a cosy outdoor heated deck. They are open 7 days all year round and open for midweek lunch daily from May to September.

Salary: €25k-30k p.a.
