REFERENCE DATA ANALYST – Dublin – reference 6306 – salary to €60k plus benefits package
Reference Data analyst with a large R&D centre for a major insurance analytical product development centre based in Dublin. This is an intermediate level role with responsibility to build and maintain reference data repository and will involve integrating data from a number of data sources, improving data quality and liaising with various stakeholders cross functionally to meet reference data requirements. The solution will play a key role in supporting data integration effort within the company in their ETL activities (using Datastage, Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server / SSIS. The key tasks of the role are around Reference / Master data management; source systems analysis; data profiling and quality assessment; data integration requirements definition
To get this role you will have a good technical qualification and more than 3 years commercial experience within a large BI / ETL environment with a focus on manipulating reference / master data management and sources and/or customer data integration with the ability to work with heterogeneous data sources, e.g. relational and non-relational databases, off-the-shelf and bespoke applications, ad-hoc spreadsheets, etc. and demonstrated experience with data and systems integration.
TECHNICAL - • Strong SQL with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases; experience with at least one ETL tool, e.g. IBM DataStage, SSIS, Talend Open Studio, etc.and PL/SQL or T-SQL
