A 12 month temporary assignment currently exists for a QC Associate to be part of the QC Chemistry Laboratory team at our clients biotech facility in Dublin South. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team responsible to ensure that our products are tested and released as per regulatory and cGMP requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
QC Testing of Raw Materials, In Process and Finished Product. Assist in completion of Laboratory Investigation Reports, Non-Conformance reports and Change Controls. Training of Q.C Laboratory colleagues. Validation Testing. Cleaning Validation. Transfer of Analytical Methods Trending of Analytical Results and compiling reports. Write and Review SOPs. Laboratory House Keeping and maintaining GLP standards. Commitment Tracking and follow up. Equipment calibrations, maintenance and troubleshooting. Assist in regulatory and internal audits. Contribute to Cross Functional Investigations and Process Team Meetings as required. Documentation review and approval.
Knowledge and Experience:
The successful candidate will:
Hold a Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or another related scientific discipline. Have relevant experience in a Pharmaceutical Laboratory (12 months in industry at a minimum) Proven industrial experience with analytical separation techniques including HPLC. Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Have strong report writing skills. Be detail oriented, self motivated with good troubleshooting and problem solving abilities. Be a self starter and capable of working on own initiative. Demonstrate team work skills.
