A Galway based multinational have an exciting opportunity for a QA Manager. The successful candidate will have five years medical device expereince and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Skills and Experience

  • A Degree in a Science or Engineering based discipline
  • Must have at least 10 years experience, five of which should be from within the Medical Device Industry
  • Experience of leading organisations through external inspections
  • Knowledge of U.S. FDA regulations, the Medical Devices Directive (93/42/EEC), ISO 13485 Quality System Standard, ISO 14971 Risk Management, Canadian Medical Device Regulation (CMDR), and JPAL/JGMP
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead various quality functions including CAPA, internal and external audits, supplier quality and quality engineering
  • Support manufacturing in relation to existing products and new product development
  • Promote continuous improvement and apply sigma and lean six tools
