The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for data mapping, detailed data analysis and metadata analysis; as well as creating and maintaining detailed mapping documents. This individual provides hands-on business knowledge working with database developers, DBA's, data architects, data quality analysts, and other IT teams (experience working with statistical resource a plus).
Required experience:
• 4-7 years of relevant experience
• Advanced analytic skills (e.g. statistical analysis, predictive analytics, data mining, etc.)
• Must have experience working with large data volumes
• Strong writing and documentation skills; highly organized
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage team members
• Must be detail oriented, service oriented, committed to producing high quality results within strict deadlines, and focused on the achievement of team goals
• Proficiency in using an analytics tool, (SAS, SPSS, R, Matlab etc) to perform:
• Proficiency in SAS is an advantage
• Must be able to balance multiple priorities and have a commitment to meticulous documentation
• Bachelors degree, Masters degree preferred
