Our client is the world's leading manufacturer of aircraft interior products and solutions, and the world's leading distributor of aerospace fasteners and consumables for the commercial business jet and military markets. An opportunity has now arisen for a highly knowledgeable Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer from technical background with manufacturing experience to join a company where you can stand up and be counted and really make a difference to the organisation. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be working with the design and manufacturing teams to deliver a manufacturing solution to the production teams taking into account cost, quality and schedule.

You will lead new programs or products through various engineering processes, ensuring they are to cost, on time and to specification. This will include design reviews, drawing reviews, BoM verification and risk and mitigation management.

You will enjoy a varied role, which will include liaising between manufacturing and design teams, establishing best processing methods and supporting vendors through manufacturing and design queries.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Engineering or technical experience gained within a manufacturing environment
- A degree in a relevant discipline such as engineering

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you must have superb interpersonal and communication skills as well as great problem solving and decision making abilities. You must also have a good attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Experience in an engineering role or of implementing Lean manufacturing principles would be beneficial to your application. A working knowledge of composite processes and assembly environments would also be advantageous, as would experience of aerospace procedures and regulations.
