This position is being created to bring dedicated timber / structural engineering project management expertise into the innovation area.
Reporting to the Innovation Manager, the main areas of responsibility of this role will include:
1) Leading tasks that encompass the development of new and innovative timber products.
2) Contribute to other innovation project as they come on-line
Terms: Contract position 2 years with a view to going permanent
Salary range €40k to €50k
Qualifications & Experience
Degree, masters or PHD qualified Timber engineering ideally.
or degree qualified in structural engineering
Min 5 years post graduate experience in timber engineering.
Proven record in project management is vital.
Preferably will have worked in the Offsite Construction sector.
Knowledge of building physics (moisture management) would be highly advantageous.
Experience in the process of new product development.
