Junior Tester / Trainer with 1yr experience working as a UA tester required for permanent role in North Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with testing of bespoke system and recording issues
  • Assist with training of users of bespoke system
  • Working in a small team (2 people).
  • The role is a hands-on role requiring good communications and analytical skill.
  • Good inter personal skills to facilitate dealing with Clients
  • Responsible for carrying out unit, modular and system testing, recording of issues and retesting when fixed
  • This role requires solid technical aptitude, the ability to work in a team, good people skills and a minimum of 1 years’ experience working
  • Assist with documentation and preparations of system releases
  • Liaise with developers on test scripts and expected results
  • Ability to write test case scenario documents and document expected results
  • Strong team player attributes required
  • Basic knowledge of SQL an advantage
  • Willingness to travel


Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified from an IT discipline
  • 1 year experience of UA testing
  • Experience in training
  • Experience with .Net, VB6, VB.Net ideal
  • Proactively learning new testing methodologies and keeping up today with relevant industrial trends and standards.
  • Proven track record of performance.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Worked in Ireland previously in test role
  • Ability to write test case scenario documents and document expected results
  • Strong team player attributes required
  • Basic knowledge of SQL an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
