Business overview

Global Transaction Services (GTS), a business unit of Citi’s Institutional Client Group (ICG), is the leading provider of cash management, trade, and securities services, to financial institutions, corporate clients and the public sector around the world. With a global network spanning over 100 countries, GTS offers a broad range of cash management, treasury, trade, custody, clearing, depositary receipts and agency and trust services.
Within GTS, Information Management and Shared Services (IMASS) team supports the Global Information Warehouse (GIW), Commercial Cards Reporting and the Global Billing applications for the GTS business.
· The GIW provides real time transaction and balance reporting to all GTS web properties including CitiDirect, CitiDirect for Securities, Treasury Vision, Next Generation Banking and various white-labelled offerings. Additionally, GIW is the strategic reference data and business intelligence capability for GTS globally.
· The Commercial Cards Reporting System provides real-time reporting via a customized MicroStrategy application as well as batch File Delivery Requests for the GTS Business.
· The Global Billing System is being implemented and rolled out globally.
Job background:

The Information Management and Shared Services (IMASS) team is currently putting in place a regional model in EMEA that will provide end to end functional, data & operational support for EMEA IMASS functions.
As part of this organisational change a Business Solutions Team will operate in the EMEA region to define and oversee the cross-functional solutions that IMASS will deliver & support for its business partners.
The EMEA IMASS team is currently hiring Senior Business Solution Analysts to form part of this team. The successful candidates will be based in Dublin & will engage primarily with product partners based in Dublin, London and New York, and will report locally into the IMASS regional manager, and centrally into the Global IMASS Business Solutions programme manager.
Responsibilities:


      Learn to understand how Citi business operates within IMASS product domains


      Take a detached view of how the business operates and identify solutions & opportunities


      Understand the IMASS architecture roadmap across all business functions


      Develop product roadmap & solutions within context of IMASS Architecture roadmap


      Solution requirements specification and outline design


      Manage project scope in a multi-system environment


      Team leadership – own, co-ordinate & negotiate with primary project stakeholders


      Co-ordination of certain Software Development Lifecycle activities, such as integration testing, user acceptance testing, release management co-ordination & test planning


      Work within the broader IMASS Business Solutions Team, leveraging the considerable expertise of colleagues within this function.

Knowledge/Experience:

      5+ plus years in a technology and/or business roles


      Background in Business Intelligence, data modelling, data management and data governance disciplines an advantage


      Experience of working in both agile and waterfall SDLC


      Project Management experience


      Outstanding interpersonal effectiveness; strong communication skills both verbal and written


      Commitment to a cooperative team approach – a team player

Qualifications:

      Bachelor's Degree in a Business/IT related discipline
