The Irish facility based in Co. Mayo is currently seeking an experienced Microbiologist. This is a permanent position
The Role:
· Carry out Microbiological testing as assigned (LAL, Cytoxicity, Bioburden, Water Analysis, Sterility, Microbial limits, Preservative Efficacy and Spore Population of BI tests)
· Compile reports for the tests and review test results.
· Carry out quality control checks as assigned (Media Growth Promotion, Environmental Monitoring, Identification of bacterial isolates, disinfectant testing)
· Schedule testing on a day to day basis as required
The Candidate:
· Minimum of BSc. Microbiology
· 3 years + industry experience GMP regulatory experience
· IT Skills - MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
· Ability to interact with peers effectively.
· Be able to deal with people at all levels including internal and external clients.
· Strong administration, documentation and analytical skills.
