The Human Resource Manager focuses on guaranteeing that efficient processes exist within the organization; these result from developing and implementing as required policies and procedures in the areas of Employee relations, recruitment, law, benefits and compensation. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with the site management team to ensure alignment and integration of strategies, projects and programs.

Main Objectives:

- Provide organizational development leadership with the ability to influence and guide site management

- Coaching managers and supervisors on effective and positive employee relations

- Recommend, implement and manage HR policies and procedures.

- Proactively promote a positive working environment

- Ensure compliance and advise management on employment law issues

- Manage grievance, investigation and discipline cases to satisfactory resolution.

- Manage the recruitment process including co-coordinating the requisition process, identifying needs, assisting in candidate interviews, managing the recruitment budget and seeking ways to reduce cost.

- Implement and oversee induction program for new team members.

- Follow and assess the probation period together with the Managers.

- Conduct exit interviews, providing feedback to management when necessary.

- Evaluate the training needs according to the site objectives, team member’s needs and results of performance evaluation

- Administrative work related with HR staff member files and personnel records, process change-of-status forms, compile personnel statistics and provide information to team members on matters pertaining to HR forms and records


Background :

Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related area required.

Master's degree in HR or related area preferred



Competencies :

- Minimum 2-3 years HR management experience, and experience in Human Resources

Administrative / legal processes required.

CIPD Qualification.

- Strong ability to lead and apply organizational processes.

- Detailed knowledge of Employment Law.

- Experience of working within a unionized environment.

- Strong communication, decision making and relationship building skills.

- Professionally confident and credible, must have a proven track record of leadership through influence and business results. –

- Excellent strategic thinking, conceptual thinking, and influencing ability

- The ability to support and lead all levels of the organization.
