Job Summary
The Partner Support Center Competitive Specialist is responsible for providing phone support to VMware’s partner community through phone based information distribution and phone center inbound partner competitive call support.
The role requires a highly motivated competitive support specialist with excellent communication skills, general computer and software knowledge, and basic information research skills.
Job Responsibilities
Planned Information Distribution
- Identify, assemble, and organize competitive information
- Lead calls with targeted partners and ensure partners are equipped with necessary competitive information
- Host web based partner community group calls to ensure basic competitive information is properly disseminated
- Create competitive information videos for distribution to partners
- Collect partner competitive information needs and inform VMware competitive marketing

Competitive Information Response
- Manage in-bound calls seeking competitive support information
- Identify, assemble, and organize competitive information in response to inbound partner inquiries

Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the computer industry
- 3+ years of experience in area of customer/partner sales, marketing, and/or support
- Basic understanding of computer and/or software
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Travel Requirement: (minimal)
- Fluent English and a second European Language, preferably German
