Digital Design Engineer, Limerick.

We are a well established multinational hi-tech electronic product development group. We have recently opened up a design centre in our new offices in Limerick city centre. We are now hiring a Digital Design Engineer.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

· Development of innovative mixed-signal products for power management applications

· Design of digital circuits and embedded microcontroller components

· Definition and verification of the interface between digital and analog components

· Communication and collaboration in a young and highly motivated team of system architects, digital and analog designers, application and test engineers etc.

Our requirements (education/experience) are:

· Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, physics or related fields

· Ideally two or more years of experience in the development of digital integrated circuits

· Profound knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL)

· Excellent understanding of digital design flows and tools (simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, design for testability)

· Fundamental understanding of mixed-signal semiconductor circuit technology

· Experience in the field of power management would be a strong plus

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
