Our Multinational Client is now recruiting the position of Master Data Lead.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the team of 'service assurance' specialists

Assume Ownership and responsibility for data accuracy of all customer/material, pricing records

Responsible for working with marketing, IT, sales, and finance (System Analyst) and all relevant depts. to define and establish the overall management strategy and approach to data clean up, maintenance and quality control

Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes and standards

Implement controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data quality

Leverage existing and implement new technologies in the data management arena to deliver improved opportunities for other departments to contact our customers in a targeted way

Responsible for creating and refining levels of categorizations within the material and customer master files(for use in customer segmentation)

Takes a ā€œhands onā€ approach to data cleaning as required

Provide quality service to AIL internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding AIL Values at all times.

Initiate regular audit of master files to identify discrepancies and date inconsistencies

Develop standardized data load requirements

Support SOX compliance through reporting of master record change history

Engage and partner with third party vendors, IT and other parties as required Responsibility and Decision Making Authority: Act independently; decision making within Company policy Management/Supervisory

Responsibilities:. Will have direct reports This role will also need to coordinate activities amongst cross functional teams, taking a leadership role to ensure deliverables are met

Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

2-5 years as a Customer Master Data Lead or similar role

Strong project management skills

Experience with data analysis, quality, cleaning and extraction / validation tools

Knowledgeable in data profiling, root cause analysis, and quality improvement

Ability to translate user requirements into technical specifications and systems

Strong influencing and relationship skills with an ability to work within a matrix organization

Strong facilitation skills
