We are looking to hire an individual to join a small project team developing a
cloud based product for the travel industry
PHP Developer Job Description:
The ideal person will have at least three years experience developing web-based applications using PHP/MySQL preferably for the travel industry. Our core development is in PHP but ideally your skills should also extend to having other strong programming capability e.g. Javascript and Ajax.
You should feel comfortable getting to grips with large systems quickly and have strong analytical skills. You should also be capable of taking responsibility and ownership of tasks and developing systems/components to tight deadlines and to high quality. You should have excellent communications skills, be comfortable with changing business requirements and have a great ability to interact with and understand a user's requirements.
You should be an enthusiastic individual who loves to code who will be expected to hit the ground running and contribute to the creation of an exciting cloud based travel product.
PHP Developer Skill Set:
Requirements:
- 3 + years experience in Object Oriented PHP development
- Experience in at least one MVC framework essential
- Experience in MySQL
- Experience with SOAP and ReST based web services
- A good working knowledge of unit testing, and RCS
