Statistical Data Analyst, Dublin, salary to €60k plus benefits package, reference 6819



My client, a leading technology and financial services organisation, is looking to strengthen their new product development department with the hire of a strong statistical data-orientated individual with an exceptional technical background in the development of analytical models to drive business performance. This position is at a senior management level, being ‘second in command’ to the hiring manager, working across a number of projects to explore different and unique ways of delivering analytics to the business

To be successful in this position, you will –

  • Be degree qualified with qualification in statistics, data mining, mathematical or other highly numerate field of study.
  • At least 3 years experience within a statistical or data orientated position
  • A strong technical understanding of deep dive analysis and modelling
  • Strong communicative skills with the ability to translate complex quantitative and / or qualitative models to non-technical managers
  • A strong SQL background (exposure to Cognos, SAS and / or SPSS an advantage)
  • Passionate about deep dive analytics, a high level of personal drive and energy
On successful hire, you will be responsible for –

  • Developing and delivering complex analytical and data modelling requirements across a number of business units
  • Identifying gaps in data analytics and champion new and innovative approaches to delivering analytics
  • Monitor predictive models through their life cycle.
  • Provide analytical expertise to add value to management information and the business on a global basis
