Our Client is one of the countries leading Publishing Groups with many successful Titles. They currently have a vacancy for a Commercial Director to cover the Donegal and Derry regions.
The Role:
- Responsible for the Sales function.
- Provide commercial and strategic advice to the Directors to assist in the continued development of the business
- Work closely with the Directors to develop and implement commercial business plans to support the growth of the company, particularly in areas of online revenue and in the core newspaper product.
- Provide leadership and development to the key Advertising Management team to maximise the potential of delivery on revenues.
- Manage and develop the full utilisation as a platform for increased revenues of the website facilities in the Donegal and Derry business.
- Report on revenues generated and provide sound business analysis for areas of deficit against plan. Providing timely and appropriate action plans for the delivery of improvement.
- Lead the process of continual development, particularly within the Sales Function
The Person
Of third level qualification calibre
Strong understanding of the Media Industry.
Experience working with the Web
Positive commercial instincts with the ability and foresight to identify and implement business improvements.
Good working knowledge of company.
Demonstrable track record in managing and developing dynamic teams
Experience in providing commercial advice to help manage and grow the business.
Proactive, with a positive attitude, flexible approach and the ability to develop the role.
The person will be a strong leader, which positive people skills and have the ability to develop an equally positive Sales team.
