Jerry O Connell n the Cork office of CareerWise Recruitment requires 5 x Microwave & Millimeterwave MMIC Design Engineers for our Cork client. This is a Start up company based in Cork.
THE ROLE:
*Responsible for performing the design, development of microwave & millimeterwave semiconductor products from 6 GHz to 110 GHz.
*Relevant design experience should include one or more of the following: Driver amplifiers, power amplifiers, distributed amplifiers, LNAs, switches, attenuators, phase shifters & frequency doubler in PHEMT or HBT technologies.
*Tasks include but may not be limited to MMIC circuit simulation & layout, device modeling, engineering test & evaluation, electromagnetic simulation & thermal analysis.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Experience with ADS, Cadence tools, TAS & Sonnet electromagnetic simulation software is strongly desired.
*BSEE plus 5 yrs experience or MSEE plus 3 yrs experience with emphasis in MMIC circuit design is desired
