Regulatory Affairs Officer
Reporting to the Regulatory Affairs NPD Manager, the purpose of this role is to working as a member of an NPD category team ensuring that all products in development comply with our global regulations and internal policies, to enable them to be legally sold in all our markets. The role will also involve roactively raising all relevant regulatory NPD matters within the Company's group to guarantee compliance and ensuring that all Regulatory NPD processes are performed efficiently so as to meet set project timings.
Key Results Areas
Regulatory approval of product artworks to ensure all legally required regulatory information is included, enabling the product to be sold in all our markets
Ensure the product text is relevant, legible and descriptive on product artworks
Ensure all product artwork claims are sufficiently substantiated and comply with global market regulations
Approve Product Claims Report to ensure regulatory compliance and global market acceptance
Validate product claims on all official communications to ensure global market acceptance
Maintain artwork files and ensure artwork availability on IFS system once finalised
Proactively raise regulatory issues and concerns during NPD project meetings
Communication of any NPD issues that may impact on registration timings, market restrictions etc
Support the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure departmental objectives are met on time
Act as a support for other Regulatory Affairs Officers
Person Specification
This role demands a disciplined, well-organised approach underpinned by the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels both verbally and in writing.
The successful candidate will have:
A third level science qualification
Proficiency in Microsoft Packages
Strong organizational & administrative capability.
Excellent interpersonal & communication Skills
Strong attention to detail
Previous Regulatory Experience would be advantageous
The Candidate will also be:
A team player with ability to act on own initiative.
Able to prioritise and deal effectively with workload as well as being able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Comfortable in an environment within which the ability to negotiate is required
