Ken Murphy of CareerWise Recruitment requires a SENIOR DIGITAL IC DESIGN ENGINEER for our DUBLIN client.
THE ROLE:
*As a Senior Engineer, you will have responsibility for all technical aspects of the project.
*You will be proficient in leading technical team across multiple locations bringing complex ICs from requirements through to tapeout, and interfacing to the customer and foundry.
*You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects meet the highest technical standards and in determining the technology roadmap for the business unit.
REQUIREMENTS:
* An honours degree or post-graduate qualification in Electronic Engineering.
*At least 8 years experience in design of large ICs/system-on-chip designs.
*Expertise in some of the following areas:
* IC architecture, design and modelling
* Embedded processors and bus architectures
* Advanced functional verification techniques
* Design for Test
* Synthesis
* Timing closure/signal; integrity
* Physical Design at deep sub micron technology nodes
*Expertise in complete IC design flows would be an advantage:
*Experience with leading edge EDA tools.
*Strong scripting skills and an aptitude for automation would be a distinct advantage.
*Technical leadership skills and experience.
* A track record of successful project completion.
