Black & Decker Shared Service Centre

Black & Decker Shared Service Centre was established in Cork in 1998, as part of a major reorganisation of the Black & Decker European, Middle East and African operations. This reflected a change in strategy for us of centralising our processes on a pan-European, Middle East and African
(EMEA) basis, rather than as a series of country-specific businesses.

We provide three broad accounting functions to the business, Accounting to Reporting (ATR), Accounts Payable (AP) and Treasury and Cash Management (TCM). We provide these services to the EMEA region through our team of approximately 60 employees. As an internal service provider we are very committed to delivering a responsive and high quality service to the Black & Decker business. This provides for a quality environment where we are continually seeking to improve the ways in which we manage our financial services.

Black & Decker also has a Sales and Marketing office in Dublin that provides Sales and Marketing services for across Ireland to our Black & Decker and De Walt businesses.
