I love the ever-evolving dynamics of the role and that&#8217;s there&#8217;s always something to learn. I love being an expert on Spearline\u2019s full range of products and services and assisting customers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><span class=\"contextmenu emphasis\">What is a defining career moment or high\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"contextmenu emphasis\">point?\u00a0Is there a career moment you are really proud of?<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Joining Spearline was definitely my career-defining moment and I am proud to be part of Spearline. The telecommunications industry is rapidly growing and definitely one of the most dynamic industries globally. Spearline grows with it too \u2014\u00a0 we are now not only offering phone number monitoring, and supporting different customer scenarios, but with the acquisition of TestRTC we also offer WebRTC testing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><span class=\"contextmenu emphasis\">What&#8217;s the best piece of professional advice you&#8217;ve received?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Be humble and confident, try new things out; venture outside of your comfort zone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><span class=\"contextmenu emphasis\">If you could go back in time and give yourself a piece of advice at the start of your career, what would that be?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Dream big and don&#8217;t be afraid, follow your dreams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><span class=\"contextmenu emphasis\">What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about interviewing for this position?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">If you have strong analytical skills, you are customer-focused, have knowledge and background in the telecommunication industry, if you like learning and challenges, then apply!<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><span class=\"contextmenu emphasis\">\u00a0What would you say are the key skills and capabilities necessary to be good at what you do?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Sense of urgency, good technical skills, communication skills, a problem-solving mind, attention to detail, good organisational skills, knowledge\/background in telecommunications industry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><span class=\"contextmenu emphasis\">What is the best career lesson you have learned so far?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">It&#8217;s never too late to learn \u2014 so never stop learning, and have the courage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><span class=\"contextmenu emphasis\">Which industry professionals should people be following on Twitter\/ LinkedIn?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Definitely everyone\/everything involved in WebRTC and telecoms to keep up to date with all the news in this area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><span class=\"contextmenu emphasis\">Is there a particular book or resource you\u2019d recommend to someone early in their career?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">I cannot recommend a particular one \u2014 there are lots of good books out there, like &#8216;Do What You Are&#8217;, Paul D Tieger, Barbara Barron, Kelly Tieger; or &#8216;What Color Is Your Parachute? 2021: A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers&#8217;, by Richard N Bolles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><a class=\"contextmenu inlinelink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spearline.com\/jobs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.spearline.com\/jobs<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1765\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.recruitireland.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Spear-10-mins.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"739\" height=\"420\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Spearline, where the team helps enterprise customers globally to diagnose, escalate and resolve issues with their phone lines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This article is sponsored by Spearline as part of the \u201810 Minutes With\u2026\u2019 series.
