Urban and rural regeneration is fuelling growth at planning and development consultancy Turley, which has just unveiled two appointments at its Dublin office.
\nKaren Power joins as associate director in the strategic communications team, with Le\u00f3n Murray joining as senior planner. The appointments follow a number of new high-profile project wins for the firm.
\nTurley’s most recent wins include work on Kilkenny County Council’s town and village renewal scheme, developing the masterplan for the regeneration of Loughanaskin, Athlone, and a feasibility study for Dublin City Council\u2019s Liberties Creative Campus.
\nKaren Power brings 15 years of communications experience, most recently from a role with the Minister of State for the Department of Community and Rural Development.
\nLe\u00f3n Murray joins from RPS Group and has an extensive understanding of all aspects of the planning industry throughout Ireland.
\nTurley opened its Dublin office in 2019. The firm has 14 offices and 260 co-owners across the UK and Ireland, including in Belfast and Derry.
\nSeamus Donohoe, associate director at Turley\u2019s Dublin practice, said: \u201c The growth we have experienced in the Irish market is down to our multi-disciplinary approach to planning, which mirrors the emerging approach to planning and regeneration across Ireland.
