Law firm McCann FitzGerald has appointed six new partners \u2013 Laura Deignan (Aviation Finance), Stephen Fuller (Corporate\/M&A), Niall McDowell (Corporate Banking), John Neeson (Corporate\/M&A), David O\u2019Dea (Restructuring and Insolvency) and Orlaith Sheehy (Public Procurement) \u2013 bringing the total number of partners at the all-equity partnership to 80.<\/p>\n
Laura Deignan has advised on multiple aircraft portfolio acquisitions and disposals and cross-border leasing transactions, and acts for many leading aircraft lessors, financiers and airlines.
\nStephen Fuller has advised extensively on M&A in the insurance sector, and advised clients on joint venture and corporate restructuring transactions in the healthcare and renewable energy sectors.<\/p>\n
Niall McDowell has acted for lenders, including Bank of Ireland, AIB, Oaktree and Activate Capital, and also for developers such as Marlet, Lioncor, GSA and Bartra in recent years.
\nJohn Neeson has a particular focus on M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions in the technology and renewable energy sectors.<\/p>\n
David O\u2019Dea specialises in corporate restructuring and insolvency matters, and recently advised Nordic Aviation Capital DAC on its landmark Irish scheme of arrangement.
\nOrlaith Sheehy is a public procurement specialist and has been involved in handling a number of legal challenges to procurement processes.<\/p>\n
