PM Group has appointed Derek Mowlds and Pat Ryan to its board, internal promotions at the project delivery company which employs 3,000 people worldwide.
\nPM Group chairman, Dan Flinter, said: \u201cThese two appointments will augment the already considerable breadth and depth of senior experience available to our business. Derek and Pat bring significant experience to our board, which will be very valuable in the years ahead.\u201d
\nDerek Mowlds is PM Group’s operations director responsible in Dublin. With PM Group since 2003, he has delivered major projects in the pharmaceutical, food and medical technologies sectors in Ireland, the EU and Asia.
\nHe was previously Asia managing director, covering China, Singapore and India. He is a mechanical engineer with an MSc in Management (UCD). He is also a Fellow and former President of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). He is a member of the Institute of Directors of Ireland.
\nPat Ryan is the firm’s operations director in Cork. He joined PM Group as a graduate in 1992 and has worked in various senior roles. He was previously MD for the Singapore Business unit for five years. Pat has extensive experience in full life cycle project delivery internationally for clients in the pharma, medtech, food and advanced manufacturing sectors. He is a mechanical engineer from MTU Cork and holds an MSc in Executive Leadership from the University of Ulster.
\nPM Group chief executive, Dave Murphy, said: \u201cDerek and Pat both have significant experience with PM Group in Ireland and internationally. We wish them well in their new roles on the board of PM Group and we look forward to working with them as we continue to grow and develop our business.\u201d
\nPM Group also recently appointed Rainer Zidov as head of engineering for its operations in Germany and Switzerland.
\nMr Zidov brings over 35 years\u2019 experience in the life science and pharma industry. He was previously a director of process technology and held key roles in specialty chemicals, biotechnology and business relationship management. He has managed the development of complex projects for multinational organisations in the USA and extensively in Germany.<\/p>\n
