Here is a selection of people starting new roles with Pepper Advantage, Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland, CBRE, University of Limerick and Grafter.<\/p>\n

Narinder Auluck has been appointed as group CTO with Pepper Advantage, the global credit intelligence company which employs over 580 people in Ireland. A mathematician by training, Auluck has over 20 years of experience in banking and finance, leading digital innovation strategies at global banks including UBS, Barclays, HSBC, and NatWest. Most recently, he was head of strategic projects at Pepper Advantage, and drove new software and AI platforms. Auluck brings expertise in developing innovative credit technology solutions. He will lead the development of all technology solutions globally for the firm. In Ireland, Pepper Advantage\u2019s operations in Shannon and Dublin have c.\u20ac25bn in assets under management.<\/p>\n

\n

Mary Behan has been appointed as marketing and communications manager with the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland (ASAI). Mary has a decade of experience in marketing and communications working across finance, insurance and regulation. Her previous roles include digital marketing and communications coordinator at KennCo Insurance and marketing and communications manager at St Raphael\u2019s Garda Credit Union. She will now lead the ASAI\u2019s digital media strategy, developing ASAI\u2019s digital reach and presence, and assist with implementing a communications and brand strategy, building relationships with ASAI\u2019s stakeholders. Mary holds a BBs in Marketing from SETU and a certificate in Online Marketing and Digital Strategy from Griffith College.<\/p>\n

Se\u00f3na Parker has been promoted to senior services manager with the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland. She brings 25 years of experience with the ASAI, with notable expertise in self-regulation and the code of standards for advertising and marketing communications. Her prior ASAI responsibilities focused on key technical areas including ad regulation and policy, copy advice as well as advertising complaints management. She will now focus on delivering against operational strategies and enhancing the overall ASAI service user experience, focusing on consistency and simplicity throughout the user journey. Se\u00f3na holds a graduateship in Marketing from MII and a diploma in Digital Marketing from Irish Times Training.<\/p>\n

Melanie Bevan has joined real estate and investment firm CBRE Ireland as lead of its strategy and change management division. She started her career applying occupational psychology to the workplace, partnering with organisations to define their people strategy and leading transformational projects across a multitude of disciplines including learning and development, wellbeing, inclusion and diversity, employee listening and the employee lifecycle. She has more recently worked with clients to use the power of real estate to influence cultural change and enhance the employee experience. With CBRE, she will be responsible for the division providing occupier clients workplace strategy, organisational design, and change and transformation services.<\/span><\/p>\n

Professor Lionel Briand has been appointed to a key role at University of Limerick and Lero, the UL-based Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) research centre for software. From January 2024, he will be the new director of Lero and professor of Software Engineering in UL\u2019s Department of Computer Science and Information Systems; he will succeed Prof Brian Fitzgerald. A leading Canadian academic, Prof Briand has 30 years of software and AI research, focused on ensuring the reliability, safety, and security of complex, AI-enabled systems. He has won European Research Council (ERC) grants. He has supervised 37 PhD students. He has received leading academic and industry awards.<\/p>\n

Robert Scanlon has been appointed as head of hospitality with Grafter, the Irish flexible workspace provider, with centrally located restored buildings in Dublin and London. Robert brings more than 30 years\u2019 experience in hospitality as a manager, creative director, consultant and restaurant owner. He began his career as a private caterer for the entertainment industry; he went on to play senior roles with restaurants and venues such as Residence Private Members Club on St Stephen\u2019s Green (now The Grayson), Pichet Restaurant and Airfield Estate. In 2015, he opened Osteria Lucio Restaurant in partnership with chef Ross Lewis of Chapter One. He has also consulted for restaurants and start-ups.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
