This multinational pharmaceutical shared services organisation provides service and support to their medical and animal health care product departments across the globe. Due to phenomenal success in delivering customer service, accountancy and supply chain support throughout the EMEA region, they are now seeking an Finance Operations Manager to manage a team of 12 AR Analysts and Associates in their Cork Global HQ.

The Role:

Managing a team of circa 12 AR Analysts and Associates you will support and drive performance across the team, providing experience and coaching to ensure success.

You will ensure that all credit management processes are efficient and carried out with consistent excellence. Where process or compliance improvements are identified, you will have the opportunity to lead Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Driving efficiencies is critical as this organisation are in a continued positive stage of growth, acquiring new functions almost every quarter. Therefore you will work closely with affiliates and third parties in providing enhancements to existing practices.

Where you hold a strong metrics background, you will have the opportunities to drive further automation of metrics, dashboards and reporting.

Your accountancy background will mean that you are the go-to person for audits within the Order to Cash wider function whilst working closely with credit risk, treasury and local CFO across a number of key locations.

You will be responsible for engaging your team, ensuring they have every opportunity to grow and develop, whilst ensuring they meet the requirements of this collaborative yet accountable high performance culture.

The Person:

You will be a qualified accountant, ideally from Big 4, Large Practice or Multi-national organisations with 2 years plus people management experience

You will have experience in audit, compliance and regulation, ideally in credit risk also though this is not essential.

You will embrace change and progress and enjoy working is a fast paced working environment.

You will be ambitious to progress your career within the organisation, as there are ample opportunities as the site continues to grow.

The most important attributes for this role are strong communication skills, accountability and people skills.
