Soccer: Minister slams booing fans

Northern Ireland Sports Minister Michael McGimpsey said the people who booed Neil Lennon at last night's international should stay away from Windsor Park.

He said they were not true supporters of the international team.

He said, "It is simply outrageous that a section of the crowd seeks to bring disrepute to Northern Ireland by verbally abusing a member of their own international team. We don't need them in football.

"They are not welcome and they should stay away until they learn to behave in a manner which befits real supporters," he added.
