Tax Manager - US Multinational start up.

As a key part of the finance team reporting to the Finance Director, & overlapping with global tax colleagues, you will be a vital link between business operations & finance for all tax & IP related matters.
More specifically your duties will be focused on the review & management of quarterly & annual corporation tax provisions, taking ownership of the R&D tax credit processes, supporting global tax strategy planning, managing tax audits/enquiries, engaging with key external stakeholders, ensuring VAT & PAYE compliance, leading tax focused projects, providing guidance to key decision makers & business leadership teams & ensuring all relevant legislation changes (both local & global) are actioned correctly.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
- CTA qualified, member of the Irish Tax Institute & fully qualified Accountant.
- 4-5+ years relevant Tax experience ideally gained in a large corporate or multinational environment.
- Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
- ERP experience - ideally Oracle/PeopleSoft.
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative & take ownership of your duties/projects. .
This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary ranging from 80-100k approx. depending on candidate skills & experience. In addition there is an excellent benefits package including generous annual bonus of up to 15%, pension contributions, health insurance & others.
This role will be a hybrid mix of 2-3 days in office with the balance working from home/remote so could suit candidates living outside the traditional commuting distance of Limerick city.
