Reporting to the Group Commercial Manager, the Business Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and enhancing performance across all aspects of the business. This role will pay particular attention to sales and sales margin of the business. This role will be based in Co. Limerick. The role is an initial 6 month contract with a strong view to permanency.


  • Detailed KPI reporting on a monthly basis to incorporate margin analysis, profitability review and financial performance.
  • Partner with key stakeholders in all business units in relation to business planning, synergies and integration.
  • Analyse procedures and look for best practice methods and implement change
  • Compile key pieces of information related to performance against sales objectives to be reviewed by Management and report approved plans to Finance for processing.
  • Review of customer profitability and appraisal of new business accounts with senior management.
  • Reporting and analysis for the Sales and Marketing departments, including: executive reporting of sales and marketing results, key metrics and KPIs, campaign tracking and analysis, and ad hoc strategic analysis.
  • Margin analysis - identify and implement corrective actions where applicable.
  • Developing processes and systems to facilitate informed decision-making and to assist the relevant teams in reaching targets.
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives to deliver cost savings throughout the business.
  • Conduct ad hoc projects as identified by the Group Commercial Manager.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • 1-2 years in a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or appropriate professional qualification.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven reporting skills and proven ability to produce and analyse reports in both Excel and Diver
  • Previous office / administration experience desirable
  • Excellent IT Skill: Strong working experience in Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Navision experience is desirable
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills essential
  • Fluent English Language skills - both written and spoken
  • Be a team player with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent and effective communication skills with a positive attitude
