Accounts Receivable Specialist – Immediate Start (12 Month Contract)

Now operating on an international scale, our client provides a multitude of cutting-edge safety, security and protection services. They are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team for an immediate start on a 12 month contract with the potential to become a permanent position.

This is a superb opportunity for a detail-oriented accounts receivable professional to take on a diverse contract with a forward-thinking business.

Within a fast-paced environment, you’ll have the chance to consolidate your skill-set and play a key role in the smooth running of our client’s financial operations.

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll be responsible for running the Accounts Receivable function for our client, as well as a number of their subsidiaries.

In this important role, you’ll review accounts on a daily basis and liaise with internal customers to ensure that all transactions are posted.

You’ll carry out collection activities via telephone and email channels, escalating cases when necessary. Additionally, you’ll build strong working relationships with licensees and ensure that any issues are swiftly resolved.

As part of your role, you will be required to undertake some travel, however this will not be on an regular basis.

Your other duties will involve:

- Billing licensees
- Preparing monthly reports for credit insurers
- Maintaining the gross margin report
- Providing ad hoc support to the Financial Team
- Calculating the accounts receivable reserve at the end of each accounting period

To be considered, you must have:

- At least two years’ accounts receivable experience
- A degree (or equivalent)

Pragmatic and logical, as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you must have great communication skills, both written and verbal. You must also have excellent time-management abilities.

Fluency in a second European language, such as Spanish, in addition to English, would be beneficial to your application.
