Our client, a global leader within their industry, are seeking an experience export documentation administrator in Cork.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for processing all orders received from distributors, agents and customers and overall responsibility for the preparation of all export documentation for orders shipped. Ensuring documents are prepared correctly and forwarded prior to arrival of goods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Order processing
  • Liaise with dispatch teams on location regarding orders
  • Prepare export documentation for clients / customers
  • Forwarding export documents in a timely manner to ensure goods clearance
  • Processing credit documentation, arrange credit notes when required
  • Communicate with shipping companies to effectively monitor schedules / potential delays
  • Monitor Bills of Lading from shipping company
  • Organise Certs of Origin
  • Invoicing for all orders
  • Escalate any delayed shipments to Customer Liaison Manager
  • Office stock management
  • Arrange shipments for Cork dispatch operations
  • Liaise with courier companies
  • Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required for this role / to provide cover if needed
Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience (min. 1 year) in a shipping company preferably in exports
  • Previous shipping documentation experience required
  • Experience processing credit documents would be an advantage
Person Specification:

  • A quick learner who can hit the ground running
  • Strong analytical skills are required
  • Ability to take responsibility for workload and to ensure processes are completed efficiently and correctly
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with fluent written and verbal English
  • Good telephone manner
  • Adaptable and flexible person
  • Strong organisational skills
Terms:

Full time, permanent
