    About the Job:
    After a period of training with the Global Engineering team in the Headquarters in Galway, you will then relocate to Asia or South America (depending on the required manufacturing site) to continue training and support the local operations for a long term assignment as required.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Engineering activities in Asia or South America
  • You will report directly to the Core Technology Manager and will be continuously supported by a Senior Engineer who will help and guide you throughout the length of your assignment abroad.
  • Support the start-up of new products, new manufacturing lines and platforms.
  • Standardised equipment upgrades identified through continuous improvement
  • Understand in detail the chemistry used in the companys systems and the factors that affect their performance.
  • Support engineers on projects and process improvements to improve operations.

  • Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2-3 years experience in operations and engineering technical positions in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience in Coating preferred
  • Good communication and training skills across different cultures.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Highly independent and takes responsibility with the ability to work on own initiative
  • High energy, drive, enthusiasm, someone who is mad for road!
