The Job Suite are currently recruiting a Head Chef for Day time hours for our client in North Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef to oversee all aspects of the kitchen from managing a team, ensuring excellent standards and driving innovation to keep up to date with culinary trends.
- Oversee the day to day running of the Restaurant
- To prepare, cook and present food to a consistently high standard for the restaurant
- To be responsible for all aspects of Food Hygiene & HACCP.
- To be responsible for ordering of supplies, ensuring they are checked in correctly and all procedures are followed re storage.
- To ensure that wastage is kept to a minimum at all times
- Liaise with management regarding rotas and all aspects of the restaurant.
- To comply with all company policies and procedures
- Keep up to date with current culinary trends and show innovation.
- To carry out any other duties requested by Management
- Must have at least 5 years experience in a busy kitchen (Restaurant) environment
- Highly motivated individual
- Possess excellent leadership skills
- Possess a strong attention to detail
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have the ability to work under pressure
- Be committed to achieving the standards required
- Required to work weekends
