Our Client is looking for Assistant Catering Manager to joint their team in Healthcare location in the Cavan area.

This new exciting opportunity is initially 12 month contract.

This job will be subject to Garda clearance

Main duties

  • Assisting catering manager and executive chefs in supervising the daily operations of a catering business
  • Leading and motivating the team and achieving cost effective results
  • Training and Development of the team
  • Putting structure in place and bringing new ideas.
  • Ensuring daily tasks are completed and smooth running the operations
  • Ensuring the highest standards in health and safety, food safety and hygiene are adhered to at all times
  • Resolving operational issues quickly and quietly with minimal disturbance
  • Responsible for a variety of administrative tasks
  • Ensuring client relationship is maintained by understanding requirements
Must have

  • Previous work experience in the food service industry
  • Certification in professional catering or foodservice management
  • Solid understanding of a HR
  • Excellent people management skills with experience of managing large teams of staff in pressured environment
  • Great Customer Service
  • Great organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal & leadership skills
