We are currently seeking applications for the post of Catering Manager in a Healthcare Environment on behalf of our Client in North Dublin.

Responsibilities include;

Responsible for day-to-day preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times to the standards required by the company. To ensure that strict hygiene controls are kept in all kitchen areas when under his/her supervision.

- To undertake any specific function of management as delegated by the Operations Management team.

Essential Requirements:

Prepare food requisition in accordance with daily routine, taking into account advance menu planning, staffing level.

  • To ensure that maximum effort i.e. a 'no compromise' policy is given to achieve an efficient service whilst maintaining the highest possible standards.
  • Work to the budget as set by the Operations Manager managing portion control, wastage, sales etc.

Recruitment of any new staff required and provision of full induction and training .

  • Regular reviews with the onsite client ensuring that all their requests are met where possible.
  • Responsible for the management of all food production to clients in the restaurant, including menus, HAACP, company policies and EHO expectations.
  • To maintain high level of communication between the restaurant team and the operations manager at all times, ensuring special messages/request are dealt promptly.
  • Check all food deliveries for quality, quantity and maintain liaison with the purchase department.
