About the Role

Vogelsang Ireland Limited provide world leading products in the fields of pump, maceration, spreading and biogas technology which are implemented successfully in the Agriculture, Waste Water, Biogas, Industrial and Rail industries. Our parent company is a German machinery manufacturer and has grown into an international world leader that comprises 23 subsidiaries worldwide and 2 production facilities in Germany.

Our business is rapidly growing and we are now looking for an Internal Sales Co-ordinator to support our sales team and effectively manage enquiry, sales and order processing systems in this wide ranging role. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for the total internal sales function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of quotations for equipment, spares and service activity
  • Processing and monitoring of orders with customers and manufacturing base
  • Effective management of order processes
  • Stock management of warehouse and replenishment of spare parts
  • Raising invoices for all sales activity
  • Organise logistics of equipment and spare parts orders
  • Provide extensive after sales service to existing customer base
  • Provide technical assistance and advise to customers before, during and after the sales process
  • First line telephone receptionist and management of all incoming enquiries
RequiredSkills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 years work experience in a mechanical Engineering industry
  • Experience of fully integrated system based sales, order processing and stock management systems
  • Ability to prepare and deliver management information within required deadlines
  • Knowledge of stock management principles and systems
  • Highly proficient with Windows based computers and Microsoft Office products (primarily Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written, verbal and telephone skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive outlook, high confidence and self-motivated
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
