Based in South Dublin, our client is a leading global provider of software solutions. They are headquartered in Dublin and currently on a huge growth trajectory enabling them to expand significantly. With their R&D department here in Dublin they are a technology powerhouse who are innovative. They are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join their expanding team. This is a strategic role and you will be responsible for providing consultancy and technical direction around uptime, performance, incident management and tracking of system defects for a global SaaS based product suite serving customers around the globe.

Sounds exciting, but what does my day-to-day look like?

  • You will provide a high level of technical leadership and influence and the ability to help troubleshoot, diagnose and seek solutions for performance issues on the system
  • Implement and support an overall service delivery strategy using best practice applications, software and system platforms
  • You will take ownership of implementing and maintaining the ITIL/ ITSM processes and best practice across the engineering teams
  • Building 24/7 support models across multiple onshore and offshore teams
  • You will coordinate and manage the Incident and Problem Management process activities
  • Leads Incident and Problem Management reporting and drive the implementation of standard execution of the incident and problem management process
  • Works alongside the App Support and Engineering teams to respond to major incidents quickly and effectively

This is exactly what I’m looking for, what do I need?

  • You will be a hands-on Service Delivery Manager with a sense of urgency and the skills required to get under the hood of technologies used
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
  • 5+ years’ relatable experience
  • Demonstrated experience in networking, systems or software engineering roles
  • Experienced with ITSM/ITIL frameworks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment and perform project and program management activities
  • Considerable knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, and business office operations
