National Account Manager – Dublin DMG53822

Eden Recruitment is working with an established Food Production Company, who has an extensive history within the Baking Industry. Providing quality bakery products through generations, this business is now home to a leading Heritage Brand amongst others and is embarking on an exciting journey of growth and development.

Highly entrepreneurial and with ambitious growth plans, this client is looking to bring an experienced National Account Manager on board to lead the Commercial Development of the Business across Multiple and Symbol Groups. Whilst primarily focussed on the Irish Market, this role has significant potential to grow and develop into a National/International role, as the business develops its international business.

The Role

  • Manage national sales accounts
  • Drive sales and growth, through identifying and managing a portfolio of accounts with potential growth
  • Establish, develop and maintain excellent customer relationships to gain competitive advantage
  • Maintain contact with key stakeholders within nominated Customers, primarily Multiple Retail.
  • Negotiate prices and LTA’s
  • Use knowledge of local markets, competition and customers to propose deals and ways of working that balance customer needs with business targets
  • Monitor competitor activity – prices, promotions, new lines and keep business updated
Requirements:

  • Third level Qualification
  • 4 years working as a NAM within FMCG/Food, with experience at Head Office Level with Major Multiples and Retail Groups in Ireland
  • Ideally have experience within Bakery/Confectionary categories
  • Proven ability to develop new business
  • Experienced in negotiating terms of agreement and close sales.
  • Proven ability to accurately forecast and plan monthly and seasonal volumes
  • Strong financial ability with particular focus on promotions and maintenance of margins
  • Strong communicator and highly motivated to exceed targets and grow business
  • Full clean Driving Licence essential
This role requires a highly motivated and innovative NAM, who is looking to join a company with a strong brand profile, who is on a significant growth path. Salary package is negotiable for the right candidate, with a heavy incentive on reaching and exceeding targets and revenue growth.
