We are looking for a Quality Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator for a role based in Co Meath. This role is on primarily focused on Health & Safety in a Manufacturing Environment.

Reporting To: QEH&S Manager

Responsibilities: Assist the QEH&S Manager in managing the Company's quality, environmental, health and safety compliance including risk assessments, safety management systems, investigations and auditing.

Key Attributes:

* Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
* Be a team player working with others to achieve company goals.
* Good presentation and report writing skills
* Experience of delivering QEH&S training
* Ability to multi task with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to work proactively on own initiative.
* Experienced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package.
* Previous experience in a Health & Safety role would be an advantage
* Understanding of Environmental and Quality management systems

Key Tasks and Duties:

* Promote a positive QEH&S culture and demonstrate how proactive QEH&S adds value to the Company
* Ensure H&S system is maintained in accordance with relevant Company policies and procedures
* Deliver QEH&S training modules and briefing material to staff as required
* Assist the QEH&S Manager in accident/incident investigation and reporting
* Monitor and coordinate QEH&S & Compliance related training.
* Ensure daily/weekly/monthly reports are kept up to date
* Assist on completing internal QEH&S audits
* Be an active member of continuous improvement processes
* Generate notices/memos/1 point lessons
* Organise H&S/PPE supplies including selection and issuing of equipment
* Be flexible in work practices and be creative and innovative in responding to changes in requirements of work
* Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by Management
