Our client, a leading food company based in Dublin, are looking to add a Channel Marketing Executive to their team on a 8-month contract basis. You will develop, manage and execute channel specific initiatives in line with retail sales strategy. The role covers a wide range of marketing activities through the line which are consumer led and customer focussed.

The Role:

You will determine the annual calendar of activity and critical paths and align cross functionality realising channel goals and delivered within budget.

You will incorporate CSR initiatives and requirements into activation programmes and leverage through communication messages.

You will create the Brand marketing activation plans in line with strategy and ensure budget spend is managed and reported while ensuring brand programs are consumer led and drive incremental sales for trade customers.

Delivering volume and value targets for the channel with actions that will improve efficiency and effectiveness and delivering key brand initiatives within Budget including NEW Product Innovation.

In this role, there is responsibility for driving the brand in Ireland and UK with above and below the line marketing plans while also creating strong links with European teams to improve implementation capability.

You will develop innovative and customised solutions for customers to generate value growth while ensuring innovation processes work seamlessly for customers, brand and concept plans.

Regular conducting and reporting of market insights and analysis while also completing competitor analysis regarding activity and NPD.

The Person:

You will have 3 years' experience in FMCG within sales and marketing with experience in the food industry desirable but not necessary.

You are degree educated with brand management experience working as part of cross functional teams to deliver key projects.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in new growth and innovation as well as customer marketing skills and budget management.

You will be very results focused with good communication and planning skills alongside being very proactive/action oriented and instilling trust in stakeholders.
