Reward Administrator
The role of Reward Administrator is to support the teams to provide a value add service to the Business in order to attract high quality candidates and appropriately reward and retain them.


  • Partner with the business to provide an effective reward and recognition service
  • Demonstrate an understanding and commercial awareness of the business unit/function and their strategic goals
  • Carry out robust reward and recognition needs analysis as required


  • Follow agreed team approach to co-ordinating and managing reward and recognition
  • Maintain on-line folders being mindful of data protection and data purging requirements
  • Review and oversee changes in procedures for paper file maintenance
  • Administer the Job Evaluation and Grading process
  • Administer the benchmarking process
  • Administer the Salary Structures
  • Administer and support the annual performance review process
  • Support the creation, implementation and documentation of Reward Policies, Procedures
  • Administer survey contribution process including Willis Towers Watson, Mercer, Hay, PWC, Deloitte
  • Support and administer the non-cash awards process
  • Manage the Reward Query Log on HR Portal and shared Reward mailbox
  • Administer the Remuneration Database monthly
  • Research and data gathering on Pay & Reward market trends
  • Administer statutory reporting
  • Participate in Reward Projects and support the implementation of the Reward system

Governance - Compliance, Risk, Audit, Legislation, Standards and Controls

  • Advise the team on the reward and recognition processes with emphasis on compliance, risk standards and controls
  • Keep up to date with all relevant HR legislation
  • Support the creation of the Reward Toolkit and manage updating Toolkit as required

Experience/Technical Knowledge/Expected Knowledge & Skills

  • Ideally have or working towards CIPD, formal HR or Data Analytics
  • Have strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Intermediate MS Excel and Word and be comfortable with spread sheet manipulation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working with HR Systems
  • Strong knowledge of reward processes and methodologies including Job Grading and Evaluation
  • Highly motivated with an ability to organise own work load and drive results and work independently
  • Experience of operating with highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience of reviewing, implementing and maintaining efficient systems and processes
  • In-depth knowledge of survey contribution and analysis
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR legislation
  • Basic understanding of the basic theories of reward, retention, motivation and engagement
