Regional Business Development Executive.

Our client is aglobal solutions provider specialising in the areas of injection moulding, metal stamping and metal fabrication.

The company provides world-class manufacturing services including product design support, tooling, project management, injection moulding, metal stamping, metal fabrication, and associated value added services to a wide range of customers.

We have been retained to recruit a Business Development Executive to establish and develop business relationships with prospective customers for the European operations. The primary focus of this role will be to generate and develop new business for the Irish and UK operations, by using a combination of direct sales approach and innovative marketing concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and develop business relationships with prospective customers to generate new business for the organization’s products/services
• Promote, sell and secure orders from prospective customers.
• Co-ordinate the sales effort with Sales management, Project management, and Technical Service groups.
• Create and develop marketing material to support lead generation, and manage social media marketing campaigns
• Carry out market and competitor research and analysis, and use appropriate sales process tools to develop new business
• Keep abreast of market conditions, product applications, technical services, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends
• Participate in trade shows and conventions.

Interested applicants should be:

• Positive, driven, articulate and persuasive
• Self-motivated, ambitious
• Have strong client interfacing skills
• Willingness to travel in Ireland and UK (Scotland)

Interested applicants should have:

• Preferably (not essentially) a Degree in Engineering, Science, Business or Marketing
• Proven sales track record in an engineering environment
Circa 10 years or more relevant experience which should include selling business to business in similar markets
• Strong demonstrated success and ability in handling major accounts


• Knowledge of contract manufacturing
• Experience in the Life Science/Medical sectors a distinct advantage

There is flexibility as to where the successful candidate might be based.
